Textile wastewater heavy metal pollution has become a severe environmental problem worldwide. Metal ion inclusion in dye molecule exhibits bathochromic shift producing deeper but duller shades, which provides excellent colouration. The ejection of massive volume containing ions such as Cr (VI), Pb (II), Cd (II) and Zn metal-containing dyes are an unavoidable consequence because the textile industry consumes large quantities water all these chemicals cannot be combined entirely with fibres during dyeing process. These high concentrations effluents interfere natural resources, cause toxicological implications on environment dramatic impact human health. This article reviewed various types their from entryway to wastewater, then briefly explored effects health environment. Graphene-based absorbers, specially graphene oxide (GO) benefits ordered structured, specific surface area, flexible functionalization options, indispensable realize performance removal. exceptional adsorption properties graphene-based materials support position ubiquity our everyday lives. collective representation wastewater‘s effective remediation methods is discussed focused GO-based methods.
